Robotic Overlord finally got its mascot!

Robotic Overlord finally got it's mascot!

Greetings and Salutations residents of the internet! Today is the 9th of March and that can only mean one thing, It’s the 9th of March and absolutely nobody cares about today. I’ve got very little to post about, I dinged 70 on my now Protection Paladin to find that nobody wants a Protection Paladin. This annoyed me, a lot.

I have also decided that Empire Total War is unplayable due to the obscene end-of-turn time.

On random news I decided I quite want to learn another language and have decided that that language should be Korean, so far i’ve learned how to write words and tha alphabet, but no actual words and have trouble telling the difference between pronounciations. Half my cue cards have the same sound descriptions on them! So i’ll be checking out some learning resources in my spare time :) ) I want to go to Korea!

So, without further a due lets wiki what has happened on previous March 9ths!

  • Jean Callas was exonerated after petitions from my friend Voltaire.
  • The football team Inter Milan was founded.
  • The Soviets put down a Georgian demonstration in 1956.
  • Barbie made her debut.
  • 42 People die in the worst recorded cable car accident.

It’s amazing how little has happened on March 9th! I have a task for everyone who reads this (All Three~ of you), head to the Wikipedia entry for your birthday and post one interesting thing that happened on it, so for example on my birthday is a fairly eventful one so if I had to pick a single incident I’d go with Operation Crossbow which got underway on December 5th 1943, Rob will enjoy reading this I’m sure being the WW2 buff that he is.

Anyway, my only other thing is if you have some time please check out Laputan Machine’s Madmarkus on Twitter, perhaps we can encourage him to post some stuff up. It irritates me how little he does post considering how funny he can be! But also check out Resuri on Twitter, she and I are working on getting a portfolio up at the moment.

Annyong-hi kashipshio! (ok, so I copy pasted that :P )

That Monday Feeling

This blog is really becoming a weekly thing but I guess that lends itself mostly to twitter which I still use actively. I wish I could say “I use all my material on twitter” but the truth be told the crap I tweet is the stuff I could never be arsed to include in the blog anyway.

It especially doesn’t help that now alongside working 8 hours a day I’m doing some University work and combating my generally shitty well-being. I recently made the mistake of watching Superfat vs Superskinny on Channel 4 Catchup and have since then eaten vastly better food.

My Tuna sandwiches (although still packed with mayo :<) have lettuce in them, for dinner last night I had an epic pasta bake instead of having oven cooked starchy foods like chips, chicken dippers and burgers. Although ... I do have a shed-load of the stuff still in the freezer so I will eat it, but I'd like to trial a full week of healthier eating to see how I like it.

My only real concern is that it'll be too expensive ... Having a nice pasta salad isn't hard to prepare, but the issue arises when you take into account the low shelf life of vegetables coupled with their moderate price. Buying a cucumber for £1 (or whatever the price for such goods actually is) is all well and good, but if it goes off or at least isn't as fresh within a matter of days then I'm poised with the problem of what to cook at the end of the week.

Just a quick hello to Leslie if she's reading, she recently dinged 57 I believe on her Frost Mage and is loving it, I took her to Scholomance and Stratholme to see some bosses, do some quests and get some loot. It was sometimes stressful, but generally a lot of fun. I think she's wearing 3/8 Devout and no, you aren't misreading. I did say devout.

Anyway, I must return to the ever dwindling life of systems engineering, it can't all be fun and games.

Enjoy guys,
JamesR.

Omg, he didn’t end with regards :O THIS IS IN REVELATIONS!

I’m going to keep pushing my Twitter account until all (zero) of you are following me! >_>

I guess Mission success? :D

Anyway, LotR Conquest arrived on my door step yesterday, a fresh review from Xbox Elite. Not to give too much of what I think away, it’s supposed to be Star Wars Battlefront, but LotR instead.

As you can imagine, this does not work too well at all. In fact, if you played any of the trilogy games back on the PS2 … They were a damn site better. Such a shame …

Those of you who don’t know/care I’ll be down in Gosport for a limited time only this weekend! Then again, i’ll probably be too busy to do anything ¬_¬ I have half a day free, then a party followed by a few days with Leslie.

Oh so much fun, as you can imagine!

Anyway, that’s about all the griping I wanted to do, I played some WoW recently … Warlocks are bloody hard work to play as vs. High level mobs, or is this just a caster problem in general?

Meh

Regards,
JamesR.

Twittery

James Reynolds | July 29, 2008

I’m wondering, if I started a twitter would anyone read and or subscribe to it?

I ask, because when I move I can’t be sure how long I will be without an internet connection and it’ll be a neat way to keep a kind of blog going without actually blogging if you see what I’m getting at?

I don’t know … It depends on whether anybody will actually bother to check it out :P

Let me know!

Twitter … What a great name. On the plus side it costs you nothing to reply from your computer! :)
