Here we go again, another day spent at the PC for the purposes of doing my dissertation and another day spent doing something completely different. I am such a creature of habit.

Anyway, what have I been doing, I hear you ask! Well I’m glad you did because in the last few hours I redid the theme, layout and settings of WeSuckAtVlogging because I was so sick of that shit looking terrible. While I was there I also redid the annotations for the vast majority of the videos to be more in line with how things really ought to look. Less pejorative nonsense and more “Message Us” and “Next Video” kind of stuff. It looks a hell of a lot nicer now and I’m glad I did it.

Previously Mark and I had this strange arrangement where we basically both logged in to WS@V and tracked subscriptions and what not but I found that it was basically a terrible idea so I went back to my old old old YouTube account from yonder years JamesPR87. I set up playlists, reformatted everything and pruned the subscription list to something more manageable (though Machinima insist I watch fifty videos a day).

After spending a while doing that and feeling all the better for it, I turned my attention to this blog. See, now even though I’m just using out of the box software with a theme that I got from someone else I’m still pretty proud of this… It looks nice, there are one or two personal touches and now that I use a standard header for every post things look pretty damn nice.

If a little cluttered…

So I broke out the pruning sheers yet again and started cutting shit off left right and center, I dropped the links to WoW blogs since I’m not even playing anymore. I dropped the calendar, half the statistics, most of the blogs that I never read or aren’t even updated and I reduced the number of posts per page down from four to one. Four worked when I posted more often but in shorter bursts, but since I update so sporadically this makes a lot more sense.

Anyway, I don’t really have a lot else to say but I plan to hit the work in a few minutes to make up for lost time today. If you haven’t already roll over to Laputan Machine since Mark did actually update it :O I know, shocking right?

Remind me to talk about World in Conflict & Fallout 3… Until next time,
