Good thing they’re not Muskets …
James Reynolds | June 14, 2008I owe you a post and a post you shall have! First let me tell you about my experience the night after my last post. I got hit by a pretty nasty fever starting around when that post was made and clearing up about 2pm the next day.
Which means my night was a barrel of laughs. When I went to go to sleep I was shivering and got out of bed and got fully clothed, put on a hoodie and zipped it right up. I was still cold. Then when I started to drift off I had some vivid dreams which turned out not to be dreams at all, but hallucinations. It was not fun.
The whole experience was actually psychologically draining because, although I don’t remember that much, I do remember having to calculate things constantly for hours and hours writhing pretty much the whole time. Morale of the story: Fevers are bad. I’m still not feeling great, but it’s just mild flu symptoms at the moment.
WoW Update: I left Disciples of Arthas to trial a Guild who regularly clears Kara. Tbh I’m looking for a short-term commitment with the maximum reward. I plan on hitting them up for a few badge runs and hopefully replacing my crappy blues with the epics that they no doubt skip.
I’m happy to announce I finally specialized my Shaman as a Transmute Mastery which I arguably get the least practical use out of, but potentially the biggest financial gain for fairly minimal effort. For example – 20 minutes farming an Air, Fire and Water primal – then getting a primal Mana whilst doing the Sentries and Mana Battery daily – is worth 150g transmuted. That means when mastery procs … I get 150 x the number of procs (up to 5 I think). I got my Alchemist stone to!
Besides WoW I decided to try Eve online again which works beautifully on this laptop. You know … Ignoring the Blue screens I get. Fuck. So thats the end of the that dream for now.
Awesome Video: Credit goes to Mark over on his blog Impotent Fuckbag for finding this awesome Star Trek related rap that I hope you will enjoy. The YouTube video is below and you can download the Mp3 from here. Although I do recommend checking out their site to, they’ve got a lot of videos to check out.
More Awesome Tracks: Mark also linked to me the very awesome track titled Act on Instinct from Tiberium Sun which I had totally forgotten about! Check the youtube video out here and as much as I loathe the idea of linking to a website called “Final Fantasy Shrine” there’s a great list of links for some good music including this track there.
Working from the list of links provided thus far from my patient readers and fellow bloggers alike, lets put together a list of the best in-game tracks and theme musics ever. Top 10?

Pick your 5 absolute favourite game songs ever – they have to have featured in the game (intro videos count) and we’ll do something magical with them! MAGICAL I SAY!
Last but not least my review of Monster Jam went live and I am currently reviewing Aces of the Galaxy. If you have the time go check out the demo.
