Fightstar – My First Gig

Never before have I ventured into the physical orgy of music and violence that one would call a gig but I have just returned from exactly that. Soaked in sweat which I must only assume now isn’t my own, bones aching from the physical strain, I have only one comment.
That was fucking awesome.
At my first ever gig – and knowing me, my last – I went in the pit for the songs I knew. I entered a circle of moshing metal heads (including some sizable meatheads) and proceeded to rock out. During which I took some nasty blows to the head and shoulder area … I even got stamped on at least once.
There are photos, presumably blurry terrible ones.
I shall be back to edit in, or post separately, the good ones.
