Nobody Reads This

I just thought i’d pop on and post something very briefly about how much i’m loving 2.4 now that i’m getting into the swing of it.

Yes, it sucks that my Shaman is a giant waste of time and they still haven’t made me overpowered yet … But these new and interesting Daily quests are brilliant! Before I didn’t see the point of repeating boring Task-X for Reward-Y literally day after day, I don’t have the quote but I think I probably described it as the ultimate in lazy quest design.

Instead, the Daily Fishing quest along with all these Quel’Danas quests which are just easy money I find I quite enjoy doing them. The world PvP quests are also great fun – but only really if there’s a few of you to get them since trying to get 10 Halaa kills on your own is just instant-death.

Anyway … Thats all I really wanted to say. Mark, if you’re reading, get the fuck online >_>

Oh and my next review is Universe at War. Yay.

I don’t really get what’s happening at the moment, but since my massive binge whenever I get home from work I just can’t seem to get to sleep when I want to.

Admittedly today wasn’t helped by the loss of an hour (meaning I got home at 7 instead of 6) but even now – some hours later I don’t really feel tired. One of the real problems is I get very hungry … and of course when I eat I stay awake longer. It’s a vicious cycle! Anyway, thats enough of that.

This morning I wrote up a Dynasty Warriors 6 review as a favor to Ross at Xbox Elite so that he could give the promo copy to someone else. Always happy to help. Things have been a bit backed up recently over there (and Mark’s DMC review is getting to be a bit of a joke) so I will probably volunteer to proof read a few pieces myself and I made a special effort with Dynasty Warriors 6 to make the review as finished and ready for publishing as possible.

That’s all I really wanted to say, so now to try and get … 4 hours sleep … before I get up and go see the Lesliekins.

There were some good posts on Kotaku today to educate those who are not in the know so far as gaming goes.

The Byron Report, a report created to determine the affects of Gaming in British society, has concluded that: Games should have more visible ratings and parents should be more responsible. I could’ve saved you £millions and told you that, so could 90% of the internet. Gordon Brown had this to say: “I’m not getting into bad parenting”. Quite.

Be sure to check out the most recent installment of “Why the Hate…” with Nintendo getting a panning. I like these videos, as a fairly objective person I agree with most of the stuff they put in … Probably my favourite from this particular video is “Shit Controllers” x3. I’m sorry Ninty, but you are just bad at controllers.

Some UK sales charts figures are up and you can look without feeling totally ashamed for once. Only 2 sports games, that has to be some kind of a record?! Anyway … I hear R6 Vegas 2 is such a let down … I only picked the first up a few weeks ago because it was cheap. Good fun, but old now.

Some people called “Sierra” … Never heard of them … Just kidding … Are making a new XBLA adaptation of a classic card game. Cool. I might check it out. Please, somebody computerize the WoW one! Don’t make me do it! It’ll be text based!

The whole Master Chief on PS3 thing was commented on by M$oft. I recommend checking it out because it was accepting but utterly scathing. I imagine Sony execs are weeping uncontrollably as we speak! We all know it’s just Penis Envy anyway!

As always, lots of stuff to do and no time to do it. Luckily I have the weekend off to rest so huzzah! I feel much better now that my voice has returned. So I hope you’re having fun
