I’m a student, an Avid Gamer, a Cash Donator to ET, ET’s #1 Poster (and not through Spam like most), i’m an experienced E-Authority, I’m british and … Err … I’m 20? Oh and Resuri is my girly girly girl girl. Girl. Friend. Person.
I was screwed over by ET, Twice, for defending the rights of Posters against Admins.
I’m also being demonised by the administration for defending my girlfriend from verbal abuse that they endorsed.
I also have a few friends who I (sporadically) write a Gaming blog with called WeSuckAtGames.
Oh and unlike ET, I don’t resort to petty link redirection, when you click Blitz’s link to here, you come here, but if we link to them you get redirected to an insulting website.
Theres also that time that Elemental Temple Email bombed me, and as a result I had their hosting revoked. But selflessly I retracted the complaint since it was a community I enjoyed being a part of.
So yes, I hope that gives you a good idea of who I am, and who exactly ET is in brief. Check our archives for documented ET related fun.

Also, keep in mind that you were the one who called him a woman, black, and gay in the first place, each meant as an abasement. Opens eyes to how you yourself must perceive each of the three groups, when you use them as insults.
Even if your banner depicting Hitler has a “Jewfro” you successfully managed to crop it down so far that the only thing showing in the banner is Hitler’s face. Right next to “Ban the Jewfro,” and is going to come across at racist, despite your parodic intent. No hair in the image at all. What you say you mean and what you are actually saying are very different things here, and the latter is all we care about.
You can belittle and criticize ET as much as you want, you can even focus on a single member’s words and actions to condone an entire community, but when your hateful bullshit starts showing up on my site, I’m not going to tolerate it being there. I seem to remember something about super models and fast cars taking precedence over the ragged malformed doll of Elemental Temple. Apparently you aren’t too old for us, as your actions have shown, and I have no personal problem with you continuing to devote so much of your time to the latest happenings at our website, but it would probably be best if you stopped instigating things that get members who have been smart enough thus far not to get banned into trouble.

1. if he had a jewfro which wasn’t seen due to it being cut off from the narrowness of the banner, it’s still atleast in my view and Blitz as well as you’ve observed anti-semitic/racist/unneccessary, whichever you would like to deam it.
2. Show me the proof I acted wrong, and don’t warp my words into your own sick explanation of why you think that is how or what I ment because 9.9 times out of 10 you don’t actually know what I’m saying. The difference between a fallacy and a parody is a slim one Zip, everybody on this side of the fence (and some noted on yours) were quite capable of understanding what a joke is. As for my use of races/sexualities/etc as a debasement, granted, you have the foundation of a point there. So when I call him Black, Female or Homosexual – or any combination thereof – Whilst I guess I am insulting those communities by affialiating Kalas with them, no particular inferority can be implied legitimately. Never hassled, I just made a comment. The only member warned in that topic was Kalas, surprisingly, for directly flaming you. But hey, because you can’t see it, it never happened.

These wires wouldn’t get crossed if you took a more sensible – documentary – approach to the way you do things. Its one of the largest contributors to hard feelings.
I’ve made similar mistakes before with suspensions and such.

That warning was long overdue after his continual trolling, tbh.
In the 4 1/2 years that the site has been around, we have only really used the warning system for about a year. Wouldn’t take a genius to figure out which year that was. And ET is a small community, if the way we do things isn’t up to your standards, well… too bad. Only a certain few members seem to have a problem with the way things are being run. Yet they continue to come back.
One could postulate that the reason you never had to issue any warns is because the only people on your forums were bots and personal friends.
You aren’t going to warn (or often even disagree with) personal friends.
We have established this and you have in part admitted it.
As soon as opinionated and intelligent people who weren’t your friends joined you were suddenly up in arms every five minutes.
All of a sudden the “Debate” about Religion was too risky … And telling jokes about a Games Console was against teh lawz.
And when, after dedicating countless hours in the pursuit of debate and fun, we ask you to be reasonable … Or perhaps stop being narrowsighted and biased … You (possessive ET) pull out the Warn system to shut us up.
The very first disagreement, that PS3 thread, remember why it got derailed?
Because EP didn’t like our opinions, and instead made sweeping and incorrect statements of his own.
And yet to this day, even though that very pattern continues, you support them (him, Kalas, other ET members) over the correct side.
And i’m sure it wouldn’t take a genius to colour in the rest of the picture here.
Icefox has (I think) apologised (he’s a reasonable level-headed guy) for how he handled that, but yet it was me (and probably Mark) and not EP who were ever punished.
That was, is, and will always be the case.
You should be glad they keep coming back, maybe one of these days you’ll learn something.
Alternatively, they were the founding members of your community, and you had them on a pedastool.
Even if you never trusted them enough to give them officiated positions.

The forums you are currently viewing are our fourth (maybe fifth… not completely sure), and since you weren’t there for the first three/four (at least, thats what I assume), that makes these comments pure speculation.
Yes, the “Debate” about Religion was rather risky. Considering the number of people that have been offended by this recent development of yours (I assure you, it wasn’t just Kalas), it looks like it was a good idea to stop that topic. Call me paranoid or whatever, but messing with Religion is one of the things I have almost no tolerance for.
I also like how you automatically assume that we have supported Kalas’s actions. Even if Ice has been telling you who has been warned or not or what we have been saying in the Admin forum (which is nothing), thats all he can see. Saying he got off without as much as a verbal warning is quite a statement indeed.
I could sit here and argue with you all day, but it would get me nowhere as you believe that you’re correct, and I believe that I’m correct. And as I have never been much of a debater, the idea doesn’t interest me in the slightest.
Oh and if that day ever comes, I’ll remember what you said. Maybe even make a little tag, which you seem to be so fond of, that denotes the fact that you were right and I was wrong. But then I’ll remember that its only the internet.

I came to the conclusion my initial thought was unlikely (as i’m fairly sure you don’t know quite a few of them personally) but that you are willing protect founding members, or friends of your direct friends, at the expense of fairness or equality.

I’ll just make it clear that I was not a founding member. I’m not even sure if Zip was (though he was around from close to the beginning). In any event, Shiun is the only MEMBER that has been with ET since its start in the summer of 2003. The rest of the current members joined along the way, and while yes, they may have certain privileges that others do not (see What?), they have been warned just the same when they have stood far enough out of line. Maybe MY policies have fluctuated this year (not speaking for Zip or anyone else in this statement), but see my last paragraph.
Was Kalas rude in the Runescape thread? Yes. Was he dead serious in his statements? No. Thats the difference I see between him, and you. There are other admins, who are free to act as they wish as long as suspensions aren’t involved.
I am Jewish myself, for the record, and I did find all this “Ban the Jewfro” stuff rather offensive. Not because of what it is, but because you appear to honestly believe all this that you’re attempting to feed us. Call it a joke if you want, but there is a limit to how far I believe a joke should go. And to make it clear, I removed the image from Dachandes sig with a polite verbal warning. He put it back up, I warned him. He put it back up again, I warned him again and told him he would be suspended for a week if he put it up again. He did just that, and I suspended him.
Resuri made a very good comment in one of her PMs, “What’s done is done”. Have I really got the ET I want after all this? No. Our original image of the future ET was shattered when the founder disappeared, and things seem to have gone downhill since then. Would I have done things differently in the past to have prevented it? Yes. Maybe in some obscure alternate timeline ET is a completely different place, but in this world we live in, this is how things have turned out. And quite honestly, I have much bigger problems in my life outside of the internet world, than to put my heart into happenings at my website. I made a commitment to see it through until the hosting expires in June, and I shall do that. But beyond there, I don’t know. I never wanted to be the one to have to assume complete control over the site, but as Swift deserted us due to his own personal problems, I was pretty much thrust into the position. Not trying to gain sympathy or anything, but theres nothing that I (or Zip for that matter) really get out of running it.

To this day no-one has explained to me what god damn rule I broke to get that first (second of the night) warn that led to my rebanning.
This has almost degenerated into an appeal, which is not my intent.

I just find it interesting that all this trouble started around the time Lucas banned you. Not trying to imply anything with that statement, its just an observation, as I don’t recall any major trouble in the year of 2006.
If you want to know the reasoning behind your banning, ask Zip. I made it clear in the “rules” that if you wished to know the reasoning behind any warnings, all you had to do was PM / Email the Administrator involved.
I have no problems with admitting I was wrong by the way, and have even done so on this page.
And didn’t mean to imply that I don’t enjoy running the site, because I do. I’ve just had a lot of crap to deal with in my personal life recently, which has reduced my involvement with the site over the year.
… I did ask Zip, this is my entire point.
1) He PMd me and told me to take something out of my sig (and warned me) so I did.
2) Then I put something entirely non-offensive in it.
3) He gave me a Verbal Warning for doing so.
4) I asked what I did to warrant a Verbal Warning.
5) He Banned me.
Now how am I supposed to ask him what I did? Bloody Smoke Signals? You should be able to tell me, after all of this, exactly what I did to get banned from your forum.
He has absolutely no genuine reason, which is the really why you can’t tell me.
So please at least admit that. I’m pretty sure we all know its true by now.
I don’t know his exact reasoning behind his actions off the top of my head, so I can’t tell you. We did discuss it at the time, but it was over two months ago now.
How are you supposed to ask him? We have things called Email addresses, perhaps you have heard of them?

I have always made it clear that you can contact us and discuss the reasoning behind a warning / suspension. If Zip wouldn’t answer an email from you, then I would have done something about it.
If he did warn you for asking a question, there must have been more to it. If there seriously wasn’t, then I apologize. Again, I’ll say that I do not remember the reasoning behind his actions. And by now, I’ve learned not to attempt to say anything to you without being as sure as possible.
Then please, be as sure as possible.
I can and will wait, i’m sure there are quite a few others who would be interested to hear this.

And, I’m only going to point out one thing here, we’ve never added any rules for YOUR benefit. We’ve certainly had to edit it to make it more clear, thanks to your “if it isn’t specifically mentioned I can do it all I want,” attitude.
hold on the only person who asked me to remove the Pic was Kalas, and by the time i read his message(because i do sleep at night) it was allready removed. so really nobody gave me chance to take it down in the first place.
you just left a little message in my Sig, if you had voiced your opinions in a PM i probably wouldn’t of put it back up, but you didn’t ask me you just took it out i put it back up to see if you would ask me personnaly next time.

I have to thank you. Thank you for clearing up my day ^^. I started out bowling this morning (legue thing…meh my gf’s idea) and I only got a 169 (crap score T_T…hehe 69 =P…*its not that funny >>*) and then I had to go to work (is still here). Zip explained to me the other day exactly why you were banned but I’ll leave Ben (the other ben) to notify you of such reason…unless of course he doesn’t answer you (again…?) then I will personally copy and paste the message to you off my msn.
I have reflected off my past actions over ET, youtube, and of course here and I must say Resuri does warrant an apology. So Leslie I am deeply sorry for my behavior towards your simple request to leave you out of it. I was indeed frustrated with Jame’s insults that were being constantly hailed at me, but I did not intend to bring you in. I’m sorry you took it that way, and yes, your name should not have come up at all. So from the bottom of my heart I do regret my actions and hope you can forgive.
However, James I must say (with a heavy heart) that I can not find it in myself to forgive you (atleast not just yet). To many rocks have been hurled through my window (metaphorically speaking) that can just not be left un-noticed. I would like to extend an olive branch however, if we were to both apologise at the same time, I would very much like to do so inorder for me to go on with my happy life, minus the belittleing and abuse I recieve daily from your blog.
On a small sidenote (this is not intended to kick up dust *trouble*) my “insults” on the rs thread were minor in comparison to some of yours. Also you can tell mine were joking as you didn’t point out that everyone else was saying stuff like that too…and to be honest I have little or no tolerance at all for Dark, because frankly I can’t see how someone can have such little thought process.
I don’t support what you’ve done and some of the things you say, but I must admit that I did enjoy the debates I shared with you (before they were drivin into flame) over on ET, and the first time you were banned I too lobbied for your return.
I hope you can find this acceptable, not because all of this is effecting me emotionally, granted some things were said that I disliked, but I’m not crying or anything. This has literally become a physical drain on my person, where it had gotten so bad my parents (who pay no attention to me) noticed that I was becoming more exhausted each day. I don’t pull night shifts like you, but I do work 8 hours straight and I make it home around 11 when I then have to do homework until around 2-3 a.m.

I won’t speak for Resuri, but you had every chance to be reasonable and apologise before this all got blown out of proportion, but you didn’t.
