Sweet Talk Café

18 12 2007

So today Leslie & I paid a visit to the new 60s place down our town center, and it was awesome! It was basically just a normal café that played awesome music, sold a few random American things and named everything they sold.

We decided to have Oreo Milkshakes, did I mention they use Blendtec Blenders? Awesome.

We didn't finish it, but we did well ...Followed by the Ultimate Screwball, pictured to the side here … And then some fries. Because you know a meal isn’t complete unless you eat it in reverse.

Actually, probably my favourite part … They do Glass Bottles of Coke. And for reasonable prices.

I urge you, if you live in the Area (Gosport) just pop in and try a milkshake … or get a cooked breakfast.

It would be a shame to see it shut.

Regards,
James.

I honestly intend to, especially since my dear mother has decided to use up the food in the freezer. Eeeuuurgh.

I want to try the “Kahuna” … It might possibly be the biggest burger i’ve ever heard about.

And at £6.50 (/w chips) it must be …

I work here and its great to hear what people think, specially as its all good stuff! The Kahuna has gone down in price now to £5.99.

Next time you come in let us know who you are. We were told about this review by customers (one of which is the only person to eat a 4 burger kahuna AND a sweet talk special!!!!)

Keep on rockin xxxx

It is indeed a fantastic little spot in town. I have recently moved back to the area with my family (after 8 years away) and it certainly brightens up Gosport. I love the decor and the music! I took my 3 year old in there earlier today and he had a wonderful kids meal all served up in a paper car he hasn’t stopped talking about since (though he wants the pink version next time). I had a great veggie hotdog and as for the milkshakes well… the milkshakes are absolutely ace. i will get through every flavour by the end of the year. And the prices are fantastic. I recommend it to everyone!

I visit the cafe fairly regularly for breakfast. In fact I am going there today. I love it. The breakfasts are awesome, the atmosphere is awesome, the staff are awesome, the prices are awsome, the music is awesome. The whole place is awesome.

Anyone who lives within 50 miles of it should definitley pay it a visit, it is well worth the jouney. I live in Devon over 100 miles away and manage to go every few weeks at least.

Sweet talk all the way!!

My auntie and uncle are the owners, (Shelly and Richard Lewis). I have only been to Gosport once or twice and visited the cafe regularly during my stay there last year. I deffinetly recomend going to The Sweet Talk Cafe as the atmosphere is awesome. Also the Mint Mountain dessert is to die for :) xx
