Stupid Things on the Interweb

So … On the 2K Forums recently someone was telling me how the Xbox was more popular than the PS2. Curious really considering the PS2 consistently outsells the Xbox even to this day
“XBox was more popular then PS2 when the last next gen war started, yet the balance tipped because of the games. However, as time
goes, I’ve noticed that exclusives have a way to… leak. Whatever is exclusive to one console tends to end up leaking to another console eventually.”
Over on Xbox Elite a fairly heated debate erupted over Virtua Fighter 5 (Which Mark Panned), during which it was proclaimed that not only was VF5 better than DoA3/4 but that DoA4 was actually rubbish. Hrmm … Yes.
“I must be more of a VF veteran than you then. I (and many more people) prefer it’s technical style. Decent players can play it very fluently. And it doesn’t play (exactly) like VF2 or 3. It plays smoother than those. And it’s still better to play than DOA4 which has a ridiculous amount of cheating AI.”
Not ever wanting to be outdone a complete pratt at ET delivered us this fantastic Gem:
“You can’t ban religon. Caure your banning a way of life including Atheism.”
oh and:
“Just because some twisted Muslim gets the bright idea to sacrifice some of his own people to kill alot of ares your going to blame it on religon? Look the Usama Binlodin (or however it’s spelled) did it because this country was founded on Christianity yes, but thats because of their Religon their way of life. So yes religon was part of it, but there is no reason to be mad at Religon.”
But did we mention:
“Religon is a belief. Ateism means you don’t believe in any Gods. Atheism is a belief. Atheism is a Religon.”
Just wow. Whoever wants to go teach that guy exactly what Atheism is, what a Religion is and how Religion caused 9/11 can do so here. Btw, anyone who fancies it … Just direct him to the Religion thread or the Atheism thread, he could stand to gain a lot from a little education.
The internet never ceases to amaze me.

James
