So I got my webcam today, as predicted, and tinkered with it a bit. Still not 100% sure about the Vlogging … I’ll script something out some time soon.

Anyway, a pleasant additional surprise came in the form of combined Christmas and Birthday present. My new laptop! An Acer Aspire 5720z.

Its nice enough, more powerful than my previous laptop, but also quite a bit bulkier. I’m disappointed at the 80gb HDD, but theres nothing stopping me from putting my (many) USB HDDs to good use instead.

Maybe if I learn to keep a handle on my junk downloads it won’t be an issue?
